Come and try Art for Kinder Kids at Eltham Living & Learning Hub. This will give children a taste of what our Art for Kids program is all about. Kids can expect to have lots of fun exploring their ideas in a variety of different art mediums and techniques
Parents are required to stay for the duration of this session.
This activity will be held at Eltham Living & Learning Hub, 739 Main Rd Eltham.
What to bring
- Art smock (preferably plastic)
Other materials are also supplied in the classroom.

Meet The Team
Polly is a qualified P-12 teacher with a major in Creative Arts.
She is passionate about kids learning through art and creativity, and uses her teacher knowledge about how children learn, to engage kids in creative and authentic art-making.
Polly believes that all children are creative, and she aims to teach kids to enable self-expression and individuality. She has taught art workshops to kids around Melbourne and also works at Edendale Community Farm as part of the environmental education team.

Our three Living & Learning Hubs (Diamond Creek, Eltham and Panton Hill) deliver neighbourhood house and community-focussed programs including arts, crafts, music, digital mentoring, health and fitness groups, MakerSpaces and much more.
As a registered Learn Local our Skills Hub provides access to low cost pre-accredited training in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Our Carers Hub supports local unpaid carers to access important resources and free well-being activities. In 2023 all three of our Living & Learning Hubs became certified Carer Friendly Places.
Each week more than 40 volunteers take on important roles as MakerSpace coordinators, tutors, community gardeners and digital mentors, as well as in day-to-day activities such as administration, marketing and general support.
Living & Learning Nillumbik is part of Nillumbik Shire Council, and is a proud member of Neighbourhood Houses Victoria and the North East Neighbourhood House Network. Our Advisory Committee provides input and advice on our Learn Local and Living & Learning Hub offerings, opportunities and challenges.
